RIT DUTIES IN LANSDOWNE

Just after 1200, this afternoon, companies 19 (Lansdowne), 24 (East Lansdowne), and 16
(Yeadon), were sent to 140 Woodland Ave. in Lansdowne Boro, for the building fire. Crews
arrived to find an active fire in the dwelling. 19 command then requested the second alarm,
bringing in companies 03 (Clifton Heights), 47 (Chester Twp.) for the coffee wagon, and Tower
Ladder 74 for the FAST truck. The Tower Ladder arrived on scene, and the crew set up for RIT duties.
Luckily, there was no need for services. The Tower was on scene for just under an hour,
and was back in house by 1330 hrs.

PAST CHIEF VINCE CHRISTI

It is with deep regret that the officers and members of the Primos-Secane Westbrook Park Fire Company
 announce the death of Vince Christi. Vince was a 52-year life member of the fire company.
 Vince held many key positions within the fire company including Chief and President. Vince
 was the first President of the Primos-Secane Westbrook Park Fire Company in 1955 and held
 the rank of Chief from 1964-1970. Vince was also a 50 plus year life member of the Lansdowne
 Fire Company. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2007 from 1800-2100 hours and on
Monday, March 5, 2007 from 0900-1000 hours at the Williams Funeral Home in Clifton Heights.
An 1100 mass will follow on Monday, March 5, 2007 at the St. Eugene's Church on Oak Avenue
 in Secane. Calling hours will be from 1800-2100 hours on Sunday, March 4th and from 0900-1000
 hours on Monday, March 5th, 2007 at the Williams Funeral Home (610) 626-2110. Apparatus is
